Programme Overview

The WEECVC project is funded by the Embassy of Sweden through We Effect. It addresses the gender gap in Malawi's cotton sector by increasing access to productive resources, financial services, and extension support for women and youth cotton farmers.

The programme targets three EPA areas: Namkumba EPA in Mangochi, Chipoka and Chingulwe EPA in Salima, and Rivirivi EPA in Balaka — reaching 9,600 women and youth who are the backbone of the sector but often excluded from decision-making and resources.
